Ryan D. Butt currently serves as the CEO & Managing Partner of The Constaré Group, LLC, a South Bend, Indiana based social-venture firm for the past five years. Ryan’s past professional experiences range from providing regional expansion of direct services to at-risk individuals, working with street-children in Kenya, to creating and maintaining innovative development offices. Currently he sits on several community boards and participates actively within South Bend’s nonprofit sector. These experiences eventually led Ryan and a few friends to launching a consulting firm in 2004 focusing on nonprofits which evolved into the Constaré Group.
Ryan is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor Degree in Government & International Studies, with a second major in African and African-American studies.
In 2002 he earned a Master of Science in Administration degree from
the University of Notre Dame, a course of study that is focused on nonprofit
organizational administration. Ryan completed his academic journey
by attaining a Juris Doctorate from Valparaiso University School of
Law in 2009 with concentrations in nonprofit, business and international
law. During his time at Valparaiso he actively researched and
wrote extensively on issues related to nonprofit tax issues, compensation
and regulation of the sector.
Bill Killilea originally hails from Northern California but has called South Bend/Mishawaka home for over 40 years. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame (1960), Bill worked at and eventually owned a car dealership in Mishawaka. He moved on to becoming Vice President of Marketing for St. Joseph Regional Medical Center and during the past several years has been a consultant to many organizations seeking assistance in their fund-raising goals. His experiences include creating and maintaining highly profitable raffles, special events, and capital campaigns. He currently serves as President of the Mishawaka Business Association and also sits on several local nonprofit boards.
Andrew Lynn is a Notre Dame graduate with several years experience working in the Michiana nonprofit sector. Prior to Constaré, Andrew managed the day-to-day operations of Make a Difference Michiana and oversaw their website and marketing efforts. Andrew has a degree in political science and is passionate about helping nonprofits engage more people in their mission. His experience includes helping nonprofits engage their supporters in regular communication using social networking and other creative communication channels. He currently serves as Vice President of CAVCO, a local association of volunteer coordinators.
Kelley Krstich is a certified English teacher who earned her BA in English Writing and a minor in French from the University of Pittsburgh in 1989. After graduation from Pittsburgh, she went on to work in public relations and design layout in Capital University in Columbus, OH. At this time she also wrote extensively as a staff editor and assistant news editor for several of the local newspapers, before moving on to teach writing skills to parochial and public schools to students grades seven to twelve in the Columbus area. Kelley, being fluent in both French and Spanish, is an asset to Constaré for her writing and editing skills. Her position at the Constaré Group allows her to follow both her creative writing spark and her desire to use her talents to give back to the community.
Laura Mott, a graduate of the University of Notre Dame's Masters of Science in Administration Program (MSA), originally attended the University of Washington and received a degree in Fine Arts. In 1997 she studied abroad in South Africa with the School of International Training and became interested in nonprofit organizations. She returned to South Africa two years later to work with one of the country's oldest NGO's, The Valley Trust. Laura has also worked with The Center for the Homeless in South Bend, United Way in Olympia, Washington, and previously chaired Avant Garde - a young members art group in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Laura currently lives and works in Olympia, Washington for the Office of the Secretary of State, specifically with the Heritage Center - a nonprofit organization focused on telling the stories of Washington through the eyes of the people who have made history.
